To keep the cheer going after Christmas is officially over, be sure to check out Apres Noel: A Party That Sleighs on Saturday at the Mountain Lodge, Tease the Season Holiday Burlesque on Thursday and Friday at the Sheridan Opera House, and Dinner and a Movie at the Telluride Conference Center on Friday ("Die Hard") and Saturday ("Christmas Vacation"), and a Holiday Pop-Up Ski Bar on Monday slopeside at the Mountain Lodge. You can also celebrate the Festival of Lights at Chabad's 3rd Annual Menorah Lighting and Chanukah Celebration on Monday at the Telluride Conference Center.
There's also plenty of music around town this week. The Sheridan Arts Foundation Holiday Concert Series kicks off at the Sheridan Opera House on Saturday with AbbaFab, followed by Cool Cool Cool on Sunday, The Fretliners on Monday and The Marsels on New Year's Eve. Additionally, James Ray Buffaloe will be playing at The Alibi on Thursday, there will be live music with Les and Friends at Telluride Arts HQ on Friday.
Other notable events include Country Dance Lessons with live music by Sean DeLand on Thursday, three days of Simon Says with five Kill Tony comedians starting Friday, Mind Blown on Friday and Saturday at The Peaks, and a Petra Class Trunk Show all weekend long at Slate Gray Gallery.
