LODGING UPDATE

Total destination occupancy from February 20 – March 6 is pacing 6% ahead of the same period in 2024 at 68%, with paid occupancy up by 7%, and average daily rate (ADR) tracking 2% ahead YOY. This week finishes in the high 70% range, ending a strong Presidents’ Day holiday (up 5% from 2024) and marking the beginning of Gay Ski Week.

Q1 destination total occupancy is pacing 1% ahead of last season, with January flat, February up by 1%, and March pacing 4% higher. Please note that YOY metrics have shifted when compared to previous reporting due to a recalibration of historical data.

AIR UPDATE

While bookings have remained relatively consistent overall, we have started to see a recent wobble on booking pace, as the up-and-down nature of the season continues. This week's snow will hopefully help.

December finished 5 points up, while January ended 6 points down on a noted lack of group. February is now off 7-8 points, largely in the first two weeks continuing from Jan, while this Presidents' Day week is running even/normal.

March, which had been ahead early, is now down several points. At this point each season, March still has 50% to fill, and is the largest travel month of the year -- so please get the word out on this welcome snow!
