THANK YOU to everyone who danced their butts off last week... The snowstorm this weekend was EPIC! With 36" over the course of the last week, we hope everyone has had so much fun playing in our backyard. We sure have. 

Back on solid ground, there's plenty going on this week as well! Telluride AIDS Benefit Fashion Week continues through Monday with a variety of events, highlighted by the Gala Fashion Show Thursday through Saturday (preview on Thursday), and the Fashion After Dark Dance Party on Saturday. Fashion Week overlaps with Gay Ski Week, which kicks off on Saturday and runs through next Saturday. Be sure to check out the full schedule of events here

Music lovers will enjoy an array of tunes this week. At The Alibi, catch Deerock on Thursday, Cousin Curtiss on Friday and Moonstone Quill on Saturday. Additionally, Tim O'Brien and Jan Fabricius will be performing at the Sheridan Opera House on Friday, Tyler Simmons will be performing for apres at the Communion Wine Bar on Thursday, and Telluride Arts HQ will be hosting Anneke Dean for the last Chamber Music Happy Hour of the season on Tuesday. 

Other fun events include Mind Blown on Friday and Saturday at The Peaks, an apres piercing pop-up at Slate Gray Gallery on Monday, and a free wine tasting at the Mountain Village Wine Merchant on Wednesday.

In addition to all of the fun, there are also some worthwhile events checking out this week, including Backcountry Chats on Thursday at the Wilkinson Public Library, the Scallywags Ball Fundraiser (to buy bus driver Brandon Griep a sit ski) at the Telluride Distilling Company on Saturday, a Blood Drive at the Telluride Fire Station on Tuesday, and a Poetry for Eco-Grief Workshop and Conversation at the Wilkinson Public Library on Tuesday.
