Telluride PEAK SHEET (Jan 15–21): Fresh Turns, Live Music, and What’s Happening in Telluride + Mountain Village
Via Telluride Tourism Board
We're SO back! It's been so nice to get outside and on the hill this week - and more terrain keeps opening daily. The skiing is great currently, so keep spreading the word we're open!
Off the resort, there is a ton going on this week in Telluride & Mountain Village, starting with some great music around town. The Sheridan Opera House has a packed lineup this week, including two nights of the Kitchen Dwellers (Thursday and Friday), Late Night Radio (Saturday), and Jason Leech with Future Joy and Michael Wilbur of Moon Hooch on Sunday. Over at The Alibi, catch Alex Dunn on Thursday, Chris Smith on Friday, Some House Some Where on Saturday, Ridgeliners on Sunday, Toubab Krewe on Tuesday and Gold Kings on Wednesday. You can also get a second dose of The Telluride Gold Kings this week on Thursday at the Sheridan Historic Bar. Plus, be sure to check out Bass Camp on Friday at Tomboy Tavern for apres.
Other notable events this week include TAB Fashion Show Model Auditions and Mind Blown on Friday and Saturday, Backcountry Chats on Thursday at the Wilkinson Public Library, Salon Night at Telluride Arts HQ on Thursday, and Dry January at the SHOW Bar with trivia and movies next Wednesday.
Why This Matters (Yes, Even for Real Estate)
Here’s the thing: weeks like this are exactly why so many buyers end up turning their “one day we should…” into an actual address. When the mountain is open, the music calendar is stacked, and the community feels alive, it’s easy to see how Telluride becomes more than a vacation—it becomes a rhythm.
If you’re exploring telluride homes for sale (or quietly stalking homes for sale telluride co at midnight with a glass of wine—no judgment), the biggest question isn’t always what you buy. It’s how you want to live when you’re here: walk-to-lifts convenience, Mountain Village lock-and-leave ease, in-town charm, or something more tucked away and private.
That’s where I come in. At Mountain Rose Realty, we keep the process white-glove, deeply informed, and tailored—because Telluride Real Estate is never one-size-fits-all. And neither are you.
